The PS4 would still be with me alongside my old gaming pc and xbox and tv if I didn't have to sell all of them. Hey nice you cherry picked something I said to try to have it fit your agenda! I'd just be complaining about the sluggish, laggish, choppy, slowwww gameplay the entire time. Why on earth I would ever cap fps at 24-30 is beyond my imagination. I can barely stand capping my fps at 90, let alone 60. The conclusion is that consoles are pretty much worth renting for a little while. The bright side is that nowadays you can just resell your used console for practically what you paid for it. Worth it for a couple of months, if that. Myself personally I'm waiting for the PS5 to come out since I sold my PS4 a long long time ago to be able to pay bills when I was in less fortunate circumstances. God of War, Spiderman, The Last of Us (soon to be The Last of Us 2), Uncharted Series, Bloodborne, and a handful of other exclusives are all worth it. In my opinion go to a pawn shop get a used PS4 for cheap. May not be worth it to you but can be to others, that's why they're called opinions.
I'd even say that you get less enjoyment out of almost every single PS4 exclusive that exists because 9 out of 10 people complete these exclusives in less than a couple of months and then sell their PS4 or watch it collect dust.Īround 89% of PS4 owners play 1-2 games the most and those 1-2 games just so happen to not be exclusives. I've played through every single game listed above. Why? Simply because you can play either at 4-6 times the frame rate in 1440p. In fact, you can get the exact same enjoyment out of either The Amazing Spiderman 2 or modding GTA 5 to let you be Spiderman.
You're not missing out on anything special. Pretty positive that playing through a few games for around a total of 60 hours at 24-30 fps is not worth $500.00.
